FAQ's
Q - Why does it take 20 minutes to get a quote?
A - Rather than using in automatic 30 second quote made by a computer based on a number of assumptions and guesses, we simply ask a few essential questions. It then takes us 20 minutes to use the info you’ve given us to generate a true and accurate quote for your car.
Q - Who creates your quotes?
A - Unlike others, who use computer generated quotes that are sent out automatically, all our quotes are sent out by real people. The quote is based on five principles that we work by:
1. The information you provided in the form.
2. The potential cost of repairs.
3. The book valuation of your car.
4. Potential sale price/profit we could achieve.
5. Being fair to you.
Q - Do you take off £150 per scratch from the quote given?
A - No. We appreciate that all used cars will have wear & tear and may also have scratches as a result. So, when giving a valuation and quote, we are realistic and honest.
Q - What if my car has finance?
A - That’s no problem. We accept cars with finance and can settle this for you with the finance company with no hassle or fuss.
Q - What admin fees do you charge?
A - Zero. Due to our supply chain, experience and contacts, we don’t have to sub-contract or instruct others to complete the work. You only deal with us directly.
Q - How can you offer such good quotes?
A - We only invest resources into what we need. So, you won’t find fancy waiting rooms, call centres and expensive websites with unrealistic and unreliable ‘60 second quotes’.
Q - Do you offer a collection or drop off service?
A - Both. Due to the way we work and unique questions we ask, we are able to make a true and accurate quote for your car. We can then arrange for collection for a small fee of £30 or you can bring your car direct to our depot without charge.
Q - When and how do I receive payment for my car?
A - Once we agree to make the purchase and you are happy with the figure, payment is made direct to your bank account within 2 hours. This might be the next day if you would like us to settle the finance on your car too.
Q - Do I get what you quoted me?
A - The reason we don’t use ‘60 second’ computer generated quotes and ask a few questions, is for that exact reason. So, when we give you a genuine quote for your car, that’s what we pay you. The only exception is if there is something significant that you didn’t or forgot to include in the questions we asked initially. However, we will still do our best to honour the initial quote.
Q - Do you buy all cars?
A - As long as your vehicle is less than 12 years old, we will be happy to give you a quote.
Q - What happens to my road tax?
A - Once you tell the DVLA you have sold your vehicle, they will issue a refund.
Q - Do I need the V5 document (log book)
A - Yes, in order for us to purchase your car, you will need to have your V5 (log book)
Q - Do you settle finance with log book loan companies?
A - Yes we can, but please call us directly to confirm before completing the form.
Q - Can I unsubscribe from marketing.
A - Yes, the quickest way to do this is by calling us on 0161 410 1234
